I see dentists who go to CE after Conference, after Continuum, after more CE. And, many of these dentists don’t give their staff medical insurance or haven’t given them a raise since, God knows when!
Is it OK to spend enormous amounts of time and money on the quest for endless knowledge at the expense of the stability of your practice?
I’m not saying not to go to CE. We’re mandated to do some. It’s our professional responsibility. But, we’re not talking about minimal CE are we?
We’re talking about taking time out of your schedule, traveling and spending days getting information that might not add a dime to your bottom line.
Please STOP!
Be strategic with your CE. CE should be an investment, not a donation. Wanna give charity? There are plenty of good ones.
And remember, “charity starts at home”. Make sure your’s isn’t falling apart before squandering your hard earned money.
To everyone’s excellent success,
Michael and the PPS team
