Leverage is a term few of us know of and in practice, even fewer of us use.
The dictionary says: “use (something) to maximum advantage”.
Maybe the reason we don’t use it in Dentistry is that it’s a term most used in finance. Leverage is used daily as a way to make money. And for many dentists, making money makes them feel guilty!
Leverage is a way of getting what you want with the least amount of effort. And, because we each have a limited amount of time on this earth, it pays to make the most of it. So, leveraging one’s time, whether it is at work, home or play is a good thing.
Time is precious.
You’re industrious. You work hard. And, if you’re like me, you often find yourself doing and saying the same thing over and over and over again.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could leverage your efforts and your time by doing things ONCE rather than multiple times?
That’s called a SYSTEM.
And, an efficient one can not only save you time and effort, it can increase the VALUE OF YOUR PRACTICE.
Can you think of an area in your practice where a SYSTEM could be implemented?
How about:
- RECARE
- NEW PATIENT
- HR
- TREATMENT PRESENTATION
- MARKETING
Systems are necessary to scale up any business. They are the singular difference between a $500,000 practice and a multi MILLION dollar one.
PRACTICE makes PERFECT but SYSTEMS make MONEY.
That’s why we call our company Practice Perfect Systems and it’s all geared to making you the best YOU want to be.
